Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Vibestream Music website and distribution service operated by Vibestream Music Private Limited. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or legal guardian agree to these terms on your behalf, and be able to enter a binding contract.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure.
- If you register on behalf of a label or company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
The service
Vibestream Music lets artists and labels submit music, artwork and metadata for delivery to digital stores and platforms. Our service is free to use and we keep 15% of the revenue we receive, so you receive 85%. Revenue is reported and paid according to the information shown in your dashboard.
Delivery to a platform depends on that platform's own review and processing. We do not guarantee that any release will be accepted, stay live, appear in playlists, earn a particular number of streams or revenue, or go live at an exact time. Our 48-hour delivery is a processing and delivery target for eligible releases after approval and submission, not a guarantee. Features such as YouTube Content ID and Facebook & Instagram Rights Manager are available only for eligible releases and are subject to each platform's approval.
Your content and ownership
- You keep ownership of your music and all related rights.
- You confirm that you own, or have all necessary rights, licences and permissions for, everything you upload, including recordings, compositions, samples, artwork, names and likenesses.
- You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, reproduce, format, deliver, distribute and make your content available on the stores and platforms you choose, and to use your name and release details to operate and promote the service, for as long as your content is distributed through us.
- You are responsible for any royalties or fees owed to co-writers, producers, featured artists, sample owners or collecting societies.
Prohibited content and conduct
You must not upload or distribute content that:
- infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights, including uncleared samples, covers without the required licences, or music you do not control;
- is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or promotes violence or harm;
- is misleading, such as false artist names, impersonation or copied metadata and artwork;
- is generated or boosted through fraudulent streams, bots or any form of artificial manipulation.
You also must not misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use it to break any law. We may reject, remove or take down content, withhold revenue connected to fraud or infringement, and suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the rules of a platform.
Copyright complaints
We respond to valid copyright complaints. See our DMCA and Copyright Policy for how to report infringement and how counter-notices work. Accounts that repeatedly infringe may be terminated.
Revenue, reporting and payments
- We pay you 85% of the revenue we actually receive for your releases from stores and platforms, after any deductions required by law or by those platforms.
- Revenue depends on platform reporting and timelines, which we do not control. Reports can be adjusted when platforms correct or reverse earnings.
- We may withhold or recover amounts linked to fraud, infringement, chargebacks, reversals or tax obligations.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on money you receive.
Takedowns and termination
You can request removal of your releases from your account or by emailing us. Removal from stores can take time because each platform processes takedowns on its own schedule. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you break these terms, create legal risk for us or a platform, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, warranties, liability limits and payment obligations, survive termination.
Disclaimers
The website and service are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and any guarantee of results, approvals, rankings, streams or earnings.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vibestream Music Private Limited and its directors, employees and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount of revenue payable to you under the affected release in the three months before the claim arose.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and compensate Vibestream Music Private Limited against claims, losses and costs arising from your content, your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the revised terms.
